Another one of my older pieces, created during the first season when there was very little source material to work from. Like my other pieces, D'Argo was done freehand on bristol by pencil, then inked using stippling (yes, the whole *#(&@# thing is stippled!) with Staedler permanent pigment liners.

I feel your pain on the stippling end. I did an 8 x 10 stippling reproduction of the 2010: the Year we make contact poster with the star child...I hurt after that. took me 2 and a half weeks...

Wonderful Stippling! I applaud you! I can't stand doing that technique but it does work most of the time... just hate doin' the damn thing! LOL! Keep up the great work!

Sheesh...somewhere in DA's formatting shuffles the big file has disappeared. :doh: I'm going to check out some of my older pieces and see if they're glitchy too. What's the point of all that stippling if nobody can see it?? Thanks for the nudge or I wouldn't have bothered to look.
